What you enter into calculators

Calculators run entirely in your browser. The height, weight, dates, readings and other details you enter are not sent to our servers and we do not store them. If you pick metric or imperial units, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage on your device so it can be remembered next time. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from and what devices they use. It collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and how you arrived at the site, and it may set cookies or similar identifiers to recognise a returning browser. Google does not give us your IP address, and we do not send Google the numbers you enter into calculators. The analytics script loads only after the page has finished loading or you start interacting with it. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask Google Analytics not to store analytics cookies and it works in a reduced, cookie-less mode. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also processes standard technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages securely and protect the site.

Advertising

We do not currently show advertising. If we add it later, for example through Google AdSense, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before personalised ads are used.

Contact form

If you send a message through our contact form, we receive your name, email address, topic and message. The form is processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which passes the message on to us by email. We use what you send only to reply and to improve the site, and we do not sell it. Please do not include personal health details in a message.

Children

HealthFitnessHQ is intended for adults and is not directed to children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data, such as access, correction or deletion. Because we hold very little personal data, the best way to exercise these rights is to contact us.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our practices change.
